​It all began in the Philippines, where I grew up surrounded by textiles, colors, and creativity. Our family's garment and printing business, founded in 1983, was more than just a livelihood, it was an expression of art and entrepreneurship. I watched talented artists work before advanced printing machines and skilled tailors turn fabric into something meaningful. That love for creation became a part of me.

London became the next chapter of my story. There, I immersed myself in the world of fashion, arts, and business. I began crafting small leather goods and handmade pieces to sell, each carrying a piece of my heart in every stitch. But life has a way of leading us where we're meant to be.

In 2020, after my wedding in the Philippines, I planned a short visit to Seattle with my husband, Paolo, before returning to London. But then, the world stood still. The pandemic closed borders, and what was meant to be a temporary stay at my husband's home became an unexpected turning point in my life. In that stillness, I found clarity. My love for bags, art, and sustainable craftsmanship blossomed. I began collaborating with European artists and selling some of my artworks, creating with purpose, and supporting artisans in a time of uncertainty together with my husband.

It was in those moments of reflection, creativity, and connection that CHARM & PAOLO was born. A brand that started in London but truly flourished in Seattle, built on the belief that fashion should be more than just style; it should be a story of resilience, empowerment, diversity and artistry.

Officially launched in 2022, the brand reflects a belief that fashion should be more than seasonal trends, it should carry meaning, artistry, and responsibility. Our collections are crafted in limited quantities using sustainable and recycled materials, including canvas, vegan leather, reclaimed plastics, marine waste, and repurposed leather scraps. Every piece is designed to be timeless, durable, and consciously made, reducing waste while celebrating ethical craftsmanship.

Today, CHARM & PAOLO continues to evolve from a handbag brand into a lifestyle fashion label expanding into apparel, accessories, and artistic collaborations while staying rooted in slow fashion, diversity, and meaningful design.
